Wagglers v North Wilts

Following our inaugural match against North Wilts, where they sent a team whose average handicap was 6!
All our pairings were one or two down after the first few holes. Despite this, gallant battles were fought on the fairways and greens amongst much laughter and banter.
Ernie Hiscock, Mike Jones, Pete Cunningham, Dieter Wakeling, Dave Dance, Jim Dufosee & Anton Newton were all mentioned in despatches.
Tom Smith and Martin Green romped home triumphant.
Despite a net 5 under, North Wilts lads, with one going around in gross 74, 5 under, on his own, won the day.
A great afternoon was had by all, with a great bunch from North Wilts, who are very much looking forward to hosting us next year.
