Wagglers Trophy - Results
The culmination of the Wagglers' 2015 season, Trophy Day, was held in superb weather conditions on Saturday 19 September.
As ever the competition was fierce and 27 members competed for the two trophies off the back tees. In addition there were three nearest the pin prizes on the par 3s and nearest the pin in 2 on the 18th. The event also includes the Wagglers AGM, the handover of the captaincy and a good supper.
Winner of the Wagglers Trophy was Nick Whiting with a nett 65, and the Ray Almond Trophy for the best stableford score was won by Bert Weedon with 39pts.
The team prize was won by Roger Antolik, Anthony Potter and Alan Goldsworthy with a combined score of 104pts.
The annual Bum Shot Award was won convincingly by Harry Hassell.

Ken Baillie handed over the captain's banner to Dieter Wakeling and Jeff Jones was endorsed as the vice captain for 2016.
