Senior Men’s Christmas Lunch & Prize Giving
Friday, 12th December 2025
On December the 12th 2025, the Seniors Men’s Christmas Lunch was held at the clubhouse. On top of the delicious food prepared by Peter, with Ruth and her team, the occasion was an opportunity to recognise all the winners of the competitions held in 2025.
The awards were handed out by Stephen Hutchinson our incoming Seniors Captain.
The MC for the event was David Stringer, the outgoing Competition Secretary, who we thanked for all the work he has done throughout the years as part of the committee.
Dave Edmunds won The Phillips Salver getting both best Net and Gross scores in The Anniversary Medal.
John Walpole won the Ken McGukian Trophy having won the Winter Knockout.
Steve Brackley won the Toomey Trophy having won the 3 Clubs & Putter Competition.
Andy Jones won both the Alan D Baylis Trophy for winning the Summer Eclectic and the Winter Trophy for winning the Winter Stablefords.
Finally, we have Kieran McGivern who won the H Bignell Cup for winning the Summer Knock Out, and the Brian Burns Memorial Trophy for winning the Summer Stablefords.
We welcome all Men over the age of 55 to join our roll ups, competitions, and friendly matches with other clubs.
