Secretaries Cup – 8 May 2016
The first pairs event of the year played out on Sunday 8 May in great weather.
The Secretaries Cup is played in Greensomes format and as expected there were some excellent scores with Tom Hibbs and Dave Mitchell running out winners with 41pts, followed in by Chris & Terry Simms and Roger Morris & Dean Huntley two points behind. Regrettably the Simms pairing were ineligible for prizes due to not having ‘competitive’ (active) handicaps so Morris & Huntley took the money.
In clear third place with 38pts were Ernie Hiscock & Nick Bishop. Fourth place was taken on countback by Ed Southey & Colin Williams who scored 37pts with three other pairings. Full results are available on the HowDidIDo website here
