Poppy Appeal Bowmaker - 8 November
24 teams of 4 competed for the annual Poppy Appeal Bowmaker on Sunday 8 November in autumnal conditions. All entry fees were donated to the Royal British Legion Poppy Day Appeal and a cheque for £300 has been sent to RBL.
Following a short address to the club focussing on the sacrifices of all the servicemen and women who have died in the service of their country the Captain presented RBL medals to the winning team of Roger Antolik, Neil Adams, Scott Jeffrey and Dave Wilkin.
The format was medal off ¾ handicap with the two best nett scores on each hole counting.
