News about WWGC Member - Sarah Gee
As most of you will know Sarah tried for her Ladies European tour card last year in Morocco, even though she didn't qualify for a card she used the experience, in playing at the top level, to take forward into this season's amateur tournaments.
It gives me great pleasure to report that Sarah has put this experience to good use by playing some very good golf of late.
She has become Wiltshire Ladies County Champion which was played at Marlborough GC with 2 rounds of +5 & Level Par.
1st place in the Aston Salver played at the Berkshire with rounds of +1 & -3
2nd place in the Critchley Salver played at Sunningdale with rounds of -1 (new course) & - 5 (old course)
This above tournament was combined so WAGR points can be achieved which Sarah won!
2nd West of England Harper Salver played at Bath GC with rounds of +3 & -2.
A massive Congratulations Sarah!
I have also just been informed, by the County, that Sarah has been selected to represent Wiltshire in an inter counties match to be played at Woodbury Park between 1st-5th July, The county secretary has said that if you wish to go and watch any of the matches across the week, all support would be greatly appreciated!
