Nepal Earthquake Appeal - Update (25 May)
The Club's Earthquake Appeal has now raised £410 to date following the raffle for a litre bottle of Black Bush over the weekend. The lucky winner is David Harris and thanks are due to everyone who generously contributed.
Dharma Gurung has written a thank-you letter to all members and a copy is posted on the Club Noticeboard. Fundraising is continuing and such is the nature of the destruction in Nepal it is clear that help, especially for the mountain village communities, will will be needed for many years to come. All funds raised will continue to be sent to the Disasters Emergency Committee.
