GOLF FOUNDATION CUP - 5 July - Results
The Golf Foundation Cup was swept up by father and son Matthew and Ken Aylott who took first and second places with scores of net 61 and 63 respectively, and left the rest of the field in their wake.
Congratulations to Matthew who for the second week in a row has taken first place honours and been rewarded with his name on two of the club’s summer trophies (and a total of 6 shots off his handicap) in a week! Nice going for everyone.
A big well done to everyone involved in organising the competition, especially the ground staff who are doing a great job with fairways and greens in excellent condition and to the bar staff who kept us fed and watered on the day. And a big thank-you to the stalwarts who stayed for prize-giving afterwards, it is an important part of the day.
