First Team Match Report – High Post (Home)

The First Team welcomed High Post to West Wilts for their second Wiltshire League match of the season, looking to bounce back from defeat in their opening fixture against Broome Manor.
High Post arrived with a strong team, including former West Wilts member Andy Rideout in their opening pair.
After four closely contested matches, West Wilts came out on top with a 3.5–2.5 victory. The match was decided by the finest of margins, with West Wilts securing the bonus point by just one hole.
There were wins for Mike White & Toby Worts, as well as Chris Eames & Dot Witcombe, helping the team record their first victory of the season.
The team for this match was Wayne Black, Wayne Hemmens, Toby Worts, Mike White, Dot Witcombe, Chris Eames, Charlie Hamilton and Tom Martin.
A great result for the team and an important win as they look to build momentum for the rest of the season.
The First Team's next match is on 6th June at home against Ogbourne, with the first tee time being at 13:30.
