BRASS MONKEYS – ROUND 2
Round 2 of the Brass Monkeys was Greensomes and saw some big swings up and down the leaderboard on Sunday 19th November.
Conditions were excellent and the course played short with no wind and receptive greens was set for some high scoring, and there was! Daves Butler and Dredge took the Round 2 honours (46pts) and have set themselves up nicely for the rush for the finish with Tony Lanfear and Pete Laidlaw who are sharing top spot on 86 pts after two rounds.
Special mention and congratulations to Club President Ivor Groskop for a hole-in-one on the 7th; sadly on a day when it seemed that every team got a 2 and when the clubhouse was full.
The results are set up for an exciting day of golf for the third round (Foresomes) on Sunday 3rd December. Results for Round 2 and the cumulative scores are as follows.
